July 15, 2005 Fires

On Friday, July 15, 2005, members of Group 3 responded to two separate building fires within a short period of time.  Each fire was quickly contained by the firefighters on duty.  Group 3 responded to a total of 12 emergencies during their 24-hour shift on July 15.

The first fire was reported at 2:10pm on Fawn Circle.  Approximately $5,000 in damage was caused by careless disposal of flammable liquids in the garage.

The second fire was reported at 5:04pm on Highland Avenue.  Approximately $20,000 in damage was caused by an electrical problem in the attic.
