New Rescue Pumper

Bid awarded for new rescue pumper
The Bedford Fire Department has announced that the bid for a new 1250gpm combination rescue pumper submitted by Pierce Manufacturing was accepted on September 19, 2006.

Upon delivery, the new truck will replace Engine 2.

Bids for the new apparatus were accepted until August 17, 2006.
